Haven't drawn Power Girl in a while!
I think the challenge when drawing such popular characters is finding your own distinctive approach. So while I adore other artists' versions of PG (especially Adam Hughes' and Amanda Conner's), I tried not to let myself be influenced by their versions. (And it would have been too easy to draw her like I would draw Bombshell, so I tried to make her look different in that regard as well.) If anything, I thought about what I think Power Girl might look like if she was a real person. Er... FYI, I'm talking about her face. Mostly.
Tools: Pencil (H), Staedtler pen (0.3), Photoshop, Wacom Intuos1
Size: ca. DIN A4
Date: March 2012
Power Girl (c) DC Comics.
